Victoria is an entrepreneur. She has built up a successful spa business, but lingering behind the spa business is her true money maker, she is a madam. Victoria keeps everyone at arms length not wanting to share how she truly makes a living thinking people will not understand or worse…put her behind bars. Victoria meets Nathan one night at a charity event and is instantly smitten, but even though she is drawn to him she just cannot let him in. Nathan is her perfect match. He challenges her and it drives her wild both physically and mentally. She has never questioned what she does for a living until he came along. She was always about protecting her “girls”. Now Nathan has sent her for a loop and with some recent events she wants out of the business, but needs some time. Can she truly let him in? Will she change her future for him? I love the push and pull between these two. Victoria was not some wishy-washy lead female. She actually had a backbone and can take care of herself. Nathan is her perfect match because he can dish out anything she tosses at him and then some. He is the right blend of cocky dominance and squishy romantic. Even though these two are perfect for each other, there are a few HUGE issues in between them that will come out and when they do it will ruin everything they built, everything they have sacrificed and everything Victoria has spent her life trying to hide. I love when a book has a good flow, can make we want to flip the pages, and help me escape reality. Great read Alice, thank you. 4 Stars!!!
